Splash Bresse - These are recessive traits that show up in a portion of chicks based on breeding programs. We have 2 flocks (the Black or Blue flocks) that can show the 'splash' coloring. We have a very small quantity from our flocks because we choose not to cross colors to create the splash coloring.

Quality counts: We're blessed to have 5 different Bresse Bloodlines so you have only the purest lines. Including bloodlines you can't get from even the most reputable breeders.

    • 250 eggs per year
    • Creme colored eggs
    • Straight run, day old chicks
    • 5.5-7lbs adults

Bresse or American Bresse will lay 250 creme colored eggs per year. Bresse are heat and cold tolerant which makes them a contender for the best homestead chicken. Splash Bresse chickens have multi-colored feathers, red combs and blue steel legs which represent the colors of their French origins. Roosters are typically 7 pounds and hens weigh in at 5.5 pounds.

    Bresse and Olive Egger Chickens

We were so impressed with Az Chickens. Our chicks arrived a few days ago healthy and lively. They have such great customer service and were amazing about communicating throughout the whole process. I was concerned about my chickens arriving safely in the cold weather, but when I picked up my box from the post office I could feel the warmth from heat packs. I can tell they care about their animals. Thank you Az Chickens!

I was very happy with the help I received purchasing my very first
Black Copper Maran chicks. The chicks were very healthy and beautiful. I look forward to the weeks ahead as they grow.
