Complete Quail Raising Kit - End To End Process

Do you dream of raising healthy happy quail? We put together this end to end processing kit to help homesteaders like yourself have a safe, sanitary and clean setup for incubation, brooding, breeding, and processing.

Getting Started:

Step 1: Incubating (Before hatch)

- Set / hatch up to 324 quail eggs per batch. The incubator includes (6) egg turners and (6) hatch baskets for an all-in-one design.

Step 2: Brooding (First 4 weeks of life)

- For the first 4 weeks, the brooder supplies the necessary heat. Each layer comes with starter feeders and starter drinkers.

Step 3: Growing (Weeks 4-6 of life)

- Let you quail feather out in our grow out pens. TIP: You can remove the space heaters from each brooding layer to convert the layers to "grow out pens".

Step 4: Breeding (After 6 weeks of life)

- After week 6, move your quail to the breeding cages for easy egg collection and manure removal.

Step 5: Processing (After breeding season)

- Turn your hard work into a hardy meal!

Step 6: Plucking (Feather removal before consumption)

- Remove every feather from wing to tail

Disclaimer: The numbers above are estimates and vary by breed and room temperatures. Warmer conditions require less supplemental heat from the brooders and could allow the birds to be moved along to the grow out pens and quail cages sooner.

Why Plastic?

Our patented PP Plastic (Polypropylene) COMFORTPLAST stackable brooding and breeding system offer a durable, safe, rust-proof and sanitary setup for easy cleaning year after year. Your birds will love you….and their new home!

Do you offer local pickup?

We offer scheduled local pickup for pullets and adult hens in Arizona through meetups in cities like Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Globe, Waddell, and Tucson. We do not operate a walk-in retail store or farm tours. Baby chicks, hatching eggs and quail are raised at our Texas location and ship by mail.

What time of year can you ship baby chicks?

Because we ship from Texas rather than directly out of Arizona's hottest months, we can offer baby chicks most of the year with adjustments around extreme heat or cold. Peak chick season fills early, so it's smart to reserve your ship window in advance for the breeds you want even though we do have off-season availability.

Where are you located?

The Arizona location is near Globe, AZ, though we do not operate a store. It is our home and farm. The Arizona location manages our seasonally grown hen orders. The Texas farm is located near Tyler, TX. The Texas location manages our breeders, baby chicks and quail. We ship year round from our Texas farm supporting families around the US.
