Chicken Calcium Supplements
Calcium supplementation is essential for laying hens to produce strong, healthy eggshells and maintain optimal bone density. These specialized supplements provide the necessary calcium carbonate and minerals that hens require, particularly during peak laying periods.
Calcium deficiency in chickens can lead to thin-shelled eggs, soft eggs, or complete cessation of egg production. It can also cause bone weakness and mobility issues in your flock. Our calcium supplements are formulated specifically for poultry digestive systems and absorption rates.
Most laying hens require approximately 4 grams of calcium daily, with the majority needed during the 4-hour period before egg formation. These supplements can be offered free-choice alongside regular feed, allowing hens to self-regulate their calcium intake based on their individual laying schedules.
Suitable for all chicken breeds, these calcium sources dissolve gradually in the gizzard, providing sustained calcium release throughout the egg formation process. Regular supplementation helps maintain consistent egg quality and supports long-term hen health.

All of the quail arrived healthy. Some were missing some back feathers when they arrived. I suppose they got bored on their journey.
They are still doing well 1.5 weeks later.
The only thing I didn’t like was that they shipped 1 week before the shipping date I selected. Also, it would be nice to know the hatch date.
