Celadon Coturnix Quail Juveniles - Premium Blue Egg Layers

Our Celadon Coturnix Quail Juveniles carry the rare Celadon gene and grow into blue egg layers that add instant wow to any egg basket. At 2–3 weeks old and partially feathered, they're perfect for flock owners who want to skip the fragile chick stage and still raise calm, hardy birds.

These quick-maturing quail typically begin laying around 6–8 weeks and can produce 300+ eggs per year under good care. Quiet, with songbird-like chirps, Celadons are an excellent fit for urban farms and HOA-friendly setups, as well as rural homesteads.

Key Features

  • 🥚 Blue egg layers (Celadon gene) – 300+ eggs/year

  • Fast maturity – laying as early as 6–8 weeks

  • 🌦 Heat & cold hardy – thrives in AZ heat and Rocky Mountain cold

  • 🐥 Juveniles (UNSEXED) – approx. 2–3 weeks old, partially feathered

  • 🏡 Urban & rural friendly – quiet and compact

New to Quail?

For the smoothest start and quickest eggs, choose Juveniles or Adults. Chicks are delicate and best for experienced keepers. Juveniles may still need supplemental heat depending on season, housing, and local temps — ask us if you're unsure.

Also available: Celadon Hatching Eggs and Baby Chicks.

***New flock owners, new to quail we would recommend the juvenile or adults. Chicks are very fragile and sensitive. Having raised quail will make the experience more pleasant and you get eggs sooner too! Juveniles may still need a heat source depending the time of year, how they are kept and what housing they are in. If you have questions what age is best for your needs please ask us or choose adults as they will be fully feathered!

Are you responsible for USPS delays?

We hand off healthy, properly packed birds and eggs on our normal schedule, but transit timing is controlled by USPS, so delivery speed itself is not guaranteed and is outside our direct control. Our guarantees focus on condition on arrival and clear documentation of any losses, not on whether the box was delayed a day in the postal network.

Can I add an extended warranty after placing my order?

Yes, extended coverage such as GritShieldâ„¢ can usually be added as long as your birds have not shipped yet, so contact support promptly if you decide you want extra protection. Once birds are in transit, new warranty add-ons are limited availability.

Can I pick up baby chicks or quail in person?

Baby chicks and quail are hatched and raised at our Texas farm and are shipped to your local post office rather than picked up at the farm or Arizona meetups. This separation allows each farm to specialize and lets us ship year-round more safely, especially during Arizona’s extreme summer heat.
