Ayam Ketawa, or the laughing chicken, once could only be owned by royal family in Indonesia. The Laughing chickens vibrant crowing is always heard around the farm. It is hard to decide if you buy Ayam Ketawas, for your entertainment or someone's detriment. This is an exotic and remarkably cherished feathered friend that will get you laughing even on tough days.

Original Bloodline Heritage

Our Committment:

We're blessed to have both lines of the original imports of Ayam Ketawas. We purchased our Ketawas from the original importer when they first were available. We estimate to be either the same generation of birds or 1 generation behind them. Our chicks will come from our 3rd-5th generations. Our flock is uniquely curated as is we have the rare silver and mottled coloring. The gold coloring is the most common in Ketawas and our flock produces 50% gold babies. The silver was from the original flock and we have 3 patterns showing in our birds.

Please note: Max of 3 Ketawas per available date and no guarantees on the coloring you'll receive. They lay VERY seasonally, peaks being Spring to early Summer & some in Fall for the majority of their eggs.

Are there any upgrades or add-ons that make chick raising easier?

Most first-time and Arizona customers do best when they add a starter bundle that includes high-protein feed, chick grit, electrolytes or probiotics, and a simple supplement plan, plus an extended warranty if they want extra protection. These pieces together dramatically increase early survival and growth, and they save you from multiple store trips in the first week.

Are you responsible for USPS delays?

We hand off healthy, properly packed birds and eggs on our normal schedule, but transit timing is controlled by USPS, so delivery speed itself is not guaranteed and is outside our direct control. Our guarantees focus on condition on arrival and clear documentation of any losses, not on whether the box was delayed a day in the postal network.

Can I add an extended warranty after placing my order?

Yes, extended coverage such as GritShieldâ„¢ can usually be added as long as your birds have not shipped yet, so contact support promptly if you decide you want extra protection. Once birds are in transit, new warranty add-ons are limited availability.
