Blue Bresse Chickens or American Blue Bresse Chickens are stunningly beautiful chickens. The quality we aim to produce the similar sizes and meet similar standards to that of the White Bresse. Our goal is for 6 pound roosters and 5 pound hens. Currently we are seeing about 6 pound roosters and less than 5 pound hens in about 50% of our grow outs. We are working toward a consistent size and eventually growing the size to meet closer to the proposed White Bresse standard. We strive to retain the blue feathers (no leakage), white ear lobes, red full combs and blue steel legs they are known for. We are one of very few farms lucky to be a home for American Blue Bresse Chickens. We aim to produce consistent size with every chick that is produced so you have a foundation for your self-sustaining flock. This means buying quality birds one or two times from us, so you have a solid foundation flock to grow with.
Blue Bresse grow outs are typically pre-ordered, if you are interested to know when they are estimated to ship/ready for pickup please contact us. There likely will be a wait before the birds come home. When it's time for them to come home, you will receive an email about a week prior to let you know they are shipping/ready for pickup or contact us to arrange a specific shipping date.
