Thank you for the wonderful service. Our white leghorn chicks were received happy and healthy and active. They arrived in CA one day after shipment and were safely packaged. We gave food, water, and heat immediately and 1.5 weeks later, they are super active, always hungry, and trying out their sprouting wing feathers. Between straw or hemp bedding, we find hemp to be the best. First of all, it’s tidier than straw. Since we have a small area for our coop, that is a nice thing. For the chickens it’s a nice thing, I’d imagine, as the claims that hemp helps controls odor must be true, as there just isn’t any to speak of! The 33lb bale of hemp bedding is conveniently delivered to our door.

I always have good experiences with Az Chickens. We buy Bresse chickens and quail chicks. We have averaged only one death per shipment, otherwise
they arrive healthy. We will continue to use Az Chickens to resupply our flock.
