Breed Information:

Our Olive Eggers are a unique hybrid breed known for their various shades of olive-colored eggs. This is achieved by crossing a dark brown egg layer with a blue egg layer.

These chickens come in a variety of colors, including black, blue, white, barred, and chipmunk, and will lay eggs in varying shades of olive with possible speckles and heavy bloom. As generations pass, the olive eggs will become darker, but there is a higher risk of offspring laying brown eggs.

The chicks you'll receive come from our F1-F7 generations and may also have varying degrees of Fibro or Fibromelanism, which can produce self-blue or blue colored chickens when crossed. On average, our Olive Eggers lay 200-300 eggs per year and have an average weight of 5.5lbs for hens and 7lbs for roosters.
