Breed Info & FAQ

Can I add an extended warranty after placing my order?

Yes, extended coverage such as GritShieldâ„¢ can usually be added as long as your birds have not shipped yet, so contact support promptly if you decide you want extra protection. Once birds are in transit, new warranty add-ons are limited availability.

Can I get baby chicks via local Arizona pickup instead of shipping?

Baby chicks are not offered for Arizona meetup pickup because all chick hatching and early brooding is concentrated at our Texas farm for safety and year-round logistics. If you prefer not to ship day-olds, consider ordering pullets or older hens for local pickup, or hatching eggs if you want to incubate at home instead.

Can I visit your farm or pick out birds in person?

For biosecurity reasons we do not offer public farm tours or in-person selection of breeding stock, because a single outside disease introduction can threaten entire flocks. Instead, we share photos, education, and detailed guidance online and through partners so you can see how birds are raised without compromising flock health.
